Peppers








Peppers are not only good tasting, but they have numerous health benefits that go beyond just nutrition. Sweet and hot peppers contain vitamin C, thiamine, vitamin B6, beta-carotene and folic acid. Peppers also contain phytochemicals, which are antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals in the body. Red peppers contain more nutrients than green peppers, including lycopene, a carotene that helps to protect against heart disease and cancer.
